Attorneys interested in providing pro bono time toward a project should click the "Sign Up" link for the project listed. Signing up for a project does not obligate interested parties in any way. The sign up will trigger a Louisiana Appleseed staff member to contact you directly to discuss the breadth of the project and answer any questions. One attorney is welcome to sign up on behalf of a team or otherwise engage firm members as needed. All volunteers will be asked to report their volunteer hours on a quarterly basis.
Appleseed values pro bono partners’ commitment to this work, and requests track and report the time spent on any given project. Volunteers are eligible to receive an award at the Annual Good Apple Gala each year. Honorees are volunteers who have gone above and beyond expectations by dedicating themselves to solving problems at their root causes. Appleseed also makes nominations to the Louisiana State Bar Association's Pro Bono and Children's Law Awards.
