Louisiana Appleseed welcomes volunteers into our pro bono network. We encourage you to first register with us online. (Link will open a new window.) Then, send us an email noting the project number you'd like to dedicate your pro bono time to solving. We will work with you and provide you with introductions to practitioners and subject matter experts to fully understand the problem presented and recommend the best course of action.

Because Appleseed reports the value of our pro bono partners’ commitment to our projects, we request that you track the time that you have spent on the project and return this information to Appleseed.  When you agree  to accept a project, you also agree to report by email all hours (attorney and staff) spent on this project to Appleseed at the conclusion of this project or at the end of every calendar year, whichever occurs first.

All of our volunteers are annually eligible to receive an award. Appleseed honors volunteers who have gone above and beyond expectations in dedicating themselves to solving problems at their root cause  during our Annual Good Apple Gala. Appleseed also makes annual nominations  to the Louisiana State Bar Association's Pro Bono and Children's Law Awards.

BE A PART OF OUR NETWORK.

BE A PART OF THE SOLUTION.

Louisiana Appleseed is dedicated to solving our state’s toughest problems at the root cause. Louisiana Appleseed is part of a national network of 16 public interest law centers across North America.

This site made possible with the generous  support from the Louisiana Bar Foundation.
