Monday, June 16th, 2025 [New Orleans, LA] - Louisiana Appleseed, in partnership with We12 Ministries, Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, and the Pro Bono Project, is bringing critical legal resources to the Gretna community with a free Wills Clinic on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Gretna Community Center located on 1700 Monroe St, Gretna, LA 70053.
This event is designed to help residents take an important step in securing their families’ futures through the creation of simple wills and other basic estate planning documents, completely free of charge. Volunteer attorneys will be on-site to assist eligible participants in preparing legally sound documents that can help protect property, reduce family disputes, and preserve generational wealth.
In the weeks leading up to the clinic, on June 21st from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Louisiana Appleseed will host a free estate planning presentation at the Gretna Community Center. This informative session led by Heirs Property Attorney Jonathan Reynolds will explain the value of estate planning, particularly for families who may face legal or financial barriers to accessing these services. During the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, learn more about the upcoming Wills Clinic, and register on-site to participate in the July 26th event.
