Friday, December 28, 2023 [NEW ORLEANS, LA] – On January 18, 2024, Louisiana Appleseed will host its 14th annual Good Apple Gala. This event will celebrate the work of community members and pro bono volunteers that Louisiana Appleseed has enjoyed working with this past year. Louisiana Appleseed proudly announces Joanna Brochado as a Bro Bono Honoree for the 2024 Good Apple Gala.
Joanna Brochado is a self-directed and seasoned legal professional with diverse domestic and international experience. She has been recognized throughout her career as having excellent team-building abilities and cross-functional collaboration skills. Her career contributions include assisting in developing and consolidating new business platforms in the renewable energy market through successful joint ventures and acquisitions, leading as a partner for a South American law firm, and successfully assisting a family-owned agri-production company restructure into a business-orientated operation. Ms. Brochado has a law degree from Pontificia Universidade Catolica – Rio de Janeiro, an MBA from Universidade Candido Mendes, and a Master in Law from the University of Houston. She is licensed to practice law in Brazil and in the State of Texas.
