Thursday, September 19th, 2024 [NEW ORLEANS, LA] –Louisiana Appleseed is thrilled to announce the Good Apple Luncheon when Walt Leger III will serve as the Master of Ceremonies in honoring our 2009 Louisiana Appleseed founding board members with a Good Apple Legacy Award and paying tribute to the pro bono contributions of Toya Mathis, Vice President & Trust Relationship Manager from Hancock Whitney. The luncheon will take place on Thursday, October 17th, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., at Arnaud’s, located at 813 Bienville Street, New Orleans, LA, 70112. This inaugural luncheon builds on the tremendous success of our past galas and aims to expand our network of professionals committed to fostering Access to Justice, Opportunity, and Education. It is a reimagined platform to unite annually with like-minded individuals and organizations who share our passion for creating positive change in our state. Adrienne Wheeler, Louisiana Appleseed Executive Director, shared, “Louisiana Appleseed strives to create access to Justice, Opportunity, and Education. The Good Apple Luncheon is our opportunity to exhibit how we have grown since our inception in 2009, and how we will continue to legacy into the future.” A new advocacy video will also premier at this special event featuring Malcom Jenkins (Saints, retired) and Kelvin Beachum (Arizona Cardinals).
