June 21, 2019, Bogalusa, LA– June is National Homeownership Awareness Month! In celebration of making the dream of homeownership available to all families, the Bogalusa Rebirth Community Housing Organization is hosting its 3rd Annual Housing Resource Fair. On Saturday, June 22, 2019 between the hours of 1pm to 3pm members of the community are invited to attend and learn everything about purchasing and owning a home. In keeping with our Access to Opportunity programming, staff from Louisiana Appleseed will be on hand to provide members of the community with educational resources on how to gain clear title of their property.
"Since 2017, we at Louisiana Appleseed have participated in this event and we are excited about the opportunity to do it again. We look forward to sharing with the residents of Washington Parish the importance of possessing a clear title" stated Louisiana Appleseed's Director of Community Engagement, Gerren Sias.
